Children from neighbouring colonies of migrant labourers, are the beneficiaries in the centre. It was established to help underprivileged children in education, healthcare and general awareness so that they could have a better everyday life. Wanna be part of improving governance?

Credibility Alliance is a consortium of voluntary organisations committed towards enhancing accountability and transparency in the voluntary sector through good governance. They have developed certain norms in the areas of governance, transparency and accountability which the member organisations are expected to comply with. The office is situated in Khetwadi in Mumbai - the closest railway stations are Grant Road/Charni Road on Western Railway and Sandhurst Road on Central Railway.

ii) They have a panel of external assessors who are persons with experience in the voluntary sector or with accounting/managerial background with exposure to the voluntary sector. The assessor has to visit the office of the organisation applying for accreditation and also visit the project and talk to beneficiaries, staff etc. They could use the services of volunteers for this work.

iii) Spread the message of Credibility Alliance and explain our norms etc. in meetings of NGOs.

The three types of services can be classified asi) desk work related ii) field visits plus desk work and iii) communications and canvassing. Of course, persons with special skills can always contribute with their expertise. For example, a database expert can help us handle the data of our members etc.

A short training/orientation would surely be given on the same.
